Does WaitAway replace my reservation system?

No. WaitAway does not replace your existing reservation system. It only manages waiting for guests without reservations and smooths the welcome on the day.

Is it suitable for restaurants without reservations?

Yes. WaitAway is especially useful for venues with many walk-ins.

Does the guest need to install an app?

Yes, the WaitAway experience relies on the app to guarantee a reliable notification when the table is ready. The journey stays guided and quick: the guest taps their phone, installs the app if needed, joins the queue and receives the call at the right time. If a guest does not have a compatible phone, has no internet connection or simply does not want to install the app, your team can add them manually. But the guest will need to remain in the waiting area so your staff can come and get them when WaitAway indicates that it is their turn to be seated.

Is there a mandatory subscription?

No. You can use WaitAway only on the days you need it.

How does usage-based billing work?

A day is billed only when WaitAway is actually used to manage guests.
